Welcome to OrthoNeuro, a Multi-Specialty Center of Excellence specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of musculoskeletal and neurological disorders.

Founded more than 65 years ago, OrthoNeuro was the first private physician group in Central Ohio to provide a multi-disciplinary center of board-certified physicians specializing in orthopedic surgery, neurology, neurosurgery, pain management and physical medicine and rehabilitation. OrthoNeuro also established the areas first multi-disciplinary sports medicine center, SportMed; as well as SpineMed for the complete treatment of spine and back disorders and WorkMed for the management and treatment of work related injuries.

We are a team of more than 200 professional staff comprised of 26 board-certified or board-eligible physicians, registered nurses, physical therapists, athletic trainers, radiology technicians, medical assistants and administrative staff specializing in all aspects of musculoskeletal and neurological care.

Jim Hammonds' job experiences involving the management of physician multi-specialty group practices include;  Assistant Administrator/COO of Trover Clinic in Madisonville, Kentucky for 10 years; Administrator of Columbus Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio for 10 years; Director of Physician Services with Alliant Health System in Louisville, Kentucky for 5 years; and President/CEO of Lourdes Medical Pavilion in Paducah, Kentucky for 5 years. Mr. Hammonds has been the CAO/CEO of OrthoNeuro in Columbus, Ohio since 2004.  

Mr. Hammonds administrative duties extended to two Foundations. He is currently Executive Director of the New Albany Surgical Hospital Foundation.  Previous management responsibilities included running a PPO and also an Ambulatory Surgery Center.  He has been a member of Medical Group Practice Administrators since 1981 and became a Fellow in MGMA's college in 1987.

Mr. Hammonds resides with his wife in Westerville, OH and much enjoys reading, travel, photography and hiking.
