Dr. Cannell is a Board Certified Physiatrist with numerous outstanding academic achievements while obtaining his education. Dr. Cannell received his Bachelor's Degree from O.S.U. in Columbus Ohio and specialized in Human Nutrition and graduated Summa cum Laude. Dr. Cannell attended Medical School at Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio where he ranked 10th out of 92 graduates. Dr. Cannell completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus Ohio and Residency at O.S.U. Hospital in Columbus, Ohio in the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Cannell was presented with the Earl C. Elkins Scholarship Award for achieving the highest score in the country on the written boards for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Dr. Cannell has served as Medical Director of the Licklider Rehabilitation Unit, Medical Examiner for the Industrial Commission, and Medical Advisor for the Bureau of Disability Determination Social Security Administration and a Medical Consultant for J. Leonard Camera Center. Dr. Cannell specializes in Electrodiagnosis, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Chronic Pain and Sports Injuries. Dr. Cannell resides in Westerville, Ohio with his wife and two children.
