Dr. Cannone is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Trauma. Dr. Cannone received his Bachelor's Degree from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio and attended medical school at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, making OUCOM Dean's List. While at OUCOM he was a member of Sigma Sigma Phi National Honorary Fraternity, Surgery Club and served as Sports Medicine Club President.
Dr. Cannone completed both his Internship and Orthopedic Residency at Doctor's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He completed a Fellowship in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Cannone also trained in Chur, Switzerland to complete an A.O. Fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma.
Dr. Cannone is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, and Ohio Osteopathic Association. He is the team physician for St. Charles Preparatory School, Bishop Hartley High School and Ohio Dominican University. While in Orlando, Dr. Cannone served the Florida Predators Arena Football League Team, ATP U.S. Men’s Clay Court Tennis Championships, PGA Bayhill Golf Championship Event Player Coverage, and the Orlando Rays A.A. Professional Baseball Team.
Dr. Cannone enjoys golf, weight lifting and fitness and resides in Upper Arlington with his wife and four children.
