Robert J. Nowinski, DO, FAOAO, is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in Arthroscopic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Shoulder. Dr. Nowinski graduated from John Carroll University, Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his medical internship and residency at Grandview Hospital and Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. He completed a one year fellowship in Shoulder Reconstructive Surgery at the Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Nowinski is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, American Osteopathic Association, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics and the American Medical Association. He serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at The Ohio State University and Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Nowinski has published more than twenty scientific articles, written several book chapters and lectured at several national and international meetings. He has privileges at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Mt. Carmel New Albany Surgical Hospital and Newark Surgery Center.
