Dr. Skeels is a Board Certified Physiatrist specializing in Electromyography and Rehabilitation of work-related injuries. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida.
Dr. Skeels attended Medical School at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. He received scholarships from the Ohio Osteopathic Foundation, Auxiliary of American Osteopathic Association, as well as receiving numerous awards including one for Outstanding Clinical Performance. He completed his Internship at Doctor's Hospital and his Residency in Physical Medicine at Ohio State University, Columbus Ohio
Dr. Skeels helped found the Licklider Rehabilitation Unit at Doctor's Hospital and was it's first Medical Director. He has served as a Consultant to The Social Security Administration Bureau of Disability Determination as well as serving on the the Ohio State Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy. Dr. Skeels has been a physician for the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) as well as the Professional Bowlers Tour. He is currently Baseball Analyst and Liason Physician with the Columbus Clippers, the New York Yankees AAA Farm Club.
Dr. Skeels and his wife, Nancy, reside in Plain City, Ohio. His daughter Stacey is an assistant buyer at Talbot's in Weymouth, MA and his son Michael attends medical school at OU.
